— About the workshop

A workshop built
on craft.

We are upholsterers, canvas-makers, and suppliers. We work in Windhoek. We treat every job — large or small — like our name is sewn onto it. Because it is.

— Our Story

Quality you can trust — that's not a tagline.

Revamp started with a simple frustration: too many people in Namibia were being told their furniture was "beyond repair" when it absolutely wasn't. Sofas with good frames being thrown out. Patios going un-shaded because awnings were "too expensive." Workshops driving across town to find a single roll of fabric.

We set up at 39 Copper Street in Prosperita to do something about all three. The workshop does the heavy lifting — manufacturing canvas products, repairing what others have given up on, and bringing furniture back from the brink. The supply shop, attached to the same building, stocks everything we use ourselves.

We don't outsource the work. We don't run a sales floor and sub-contract the build. The hands that quote your job are the hands that do it.

Two arms, one workshop.

  • i.
Revamp Upholstery Furniture re-upholstery, repairs, and the supply shop. The home of soft furnishings — sofas, chairs, headboards, vehicle interiors, and every fastener, foam offcut, and zipper you might need to do the job yourself.
  • ii.
Revamp Canvas Our outdoor and manufacturing arm. Tents, awnings, patio shades, vehicle seat covers, equine and pet products. Built in rip-stop and cotton canvas for Namibian conditions.
— What we stand for

Three things we won't compromise on.

If we couldn't deliver on these, we'd close the workshop. They're not slogans — they're the standard we work to, every day.

Honest quotes

We inspect, measure, and quote — before any work begins. If a repair will cost more than a replacement, we say so. If your old sofa has another 15 years in it, we say that too. No upsells, no surprises.

— 02

Materials that last

Rip-stop canvas where it matters. Marine-grade thread on outdoor work. High-density foam, UV-resistant fabric, hardware that doesn't seize up after one season. We stock what we use, and we use what lasts.

Workmanship we'd sign

Every piece that leaves the workshop has been checked, double-checked, and signed off. If you spot something we missed, bring it back. We'll fix it. We'd rather lose an hour of profit than send a job out twice.
